"I began working in television in 1964, under the tutelage of Dr. James Lynch, director of CCTV production at The Ohio State University. My work included producing/directing, floor-management and camera. For the next 35 years I made extensive use of video in my research and teaching at the University of Washington, Seattle. If you're interested in learning more about my work with computers, hypertext, laser disc development and video at the University you'll find this in the article Theatre History and Computing in the University of Washington School of Drama above .
Since leaving the University in 1998 and joining my wife at VideOccasions, the video production company she founded that same year, I have continued to write and publish between bouts of producing, shooting and editing. To collect these writings in one location I have placed them here on the VideOccasions web site.
Enjoy, and please feel free to comment . I welcome feedback and the sharing of ideas."
