The site created by Em Turner Nickinson Kuhl and Mary Glen Kuhl Chitty. This site is a treasury of late 19th century American theatrical information, with copious links to major theatrical figures, theatres and productions of the period.
ReadPrint, a free on-line library; includes the complete works of Shakespeare, plus numerous other authors and their works.

Scottish Theatre Archive. University of Glasgow Library Special Collections in theatre. Holdings include entries for "companies and festivals, artists, theatre programmes, scripts, people and design collections."
theatreSCOTLAND:, Home of Scottish Theatre. A gateway to activity in the Scottish theatre, updated daily. Not historical, but an excellent resource for contemporary theatre activity in Scotland. The site is maintained by Mark Fisher.
Theatrehistory.com, a wildly eclectic commercial site, with links to books, articles, sheet music, etc., from every century. Worth a visit in desperation, or for fun.

Vitruvio.ch Links to sites presenting general history as well as theatre historical sites -- e.g., the Teatro Farnese, in a 360 degree panoramic virtual tour. Excellent pictorial resources for virtual every century.

THEATRON-Theatre History in Europe, Theatron Ltd. "Theatron Limited is a small, dynamic company specializing in the field of virtual
reality and multimedia for cultural heritage clients." This company produced some of the finest computer generated models of ancient theatres and
related sites that I have ever seen. Regrettably the company has lost its funding and has taken its site off-line (4/2/15)] It is survived by just this brief
history.
