Florimène: Tutorial
The Florimène tutorial introduces the student to the concept of the masque, generally, and to Florimène specifically.
In addition to an extensive discussion of masques and drawings which illustrate early masque forms, there is an extensive glossary of terms.
Since this project was developed before the days of "hot spots" or "buttons," the glossary is accessed by pressing the letter "G," rather than using a mouse as we would today. Exiting the glossary returns the user to the tutorial page from which the glossary was accessed. [Click on the letter "G" below to see a sample of the glossary.]
