• CARTAH (University of Washington Center for Advanced Research Technology in the Arts and Humanities)

• Retrospective of the achievements of the Getty Information Institute, which closed in June 2001. Much of the work done by the Institute may still be accessed at the Getty Museum sitemap, through which you should be able to find links to the Arthur image search system, with an index of over 30,000 images; Bibliography of the History of Art; Census of Art and Architecture Known to the Renaissance; Witt Computer Index; and the Avery Index of current literature on Architecture and Design.

• Institute for Advanced Technology in the Humanities, at the University of Virginia. This is an excellent source for articles on topics in the humanities.

• The Jerome Lawrence and Robert E. Lee Theatre Research Institute at The Ohio State University.

• The Richard Southern Print Collection, in the University of Bristol (UK) Library. More than 22,000 historical theatre prints. As of 1/4/2004 the collection was still being cataloged.

Libraries

• The Burcardo Library and Theatre Collection(Italian). An on-line catalogue and search engine. The collection covers mid-17th century to the present.

• Sibmas, the International Association of Libraries and Museums of the Performing Arts. With links to the International Directory of Performing Arts Collections and Institutions, where you can find information such as email addresses, phone numbers, hours of operation, etc., for most of the world's performing arts collections.
