• Historic England, with archive of all/most Listed Buildings in the U.K. Excellent photos of buildings on the List.

• Institute for Advanced Technology in the Humanities, at the University of Virginia. This is an excellent source for articles on topics in the humanities.

• The Jerome Lawrence and Robert E. Lee Theatre Research Institute at The Ohio State University.

• The Richard Southern Collection, in the University of Bristol (UK) Library. Of the Collection the Library reports: "The Richard Southern Collection is an important visual resource for the history of theatre. It is particularly strong in the areas of theatre architecture and backstage information, including plans, photographs, cuttings, as well as scenery and costume. There are about 22,500 prints and illustrations providing a useful theatre picture library for all researchers."
